Applying for registration

Ready for registration?

Registration is a significant organisational commitment. Registration criteria outline specific requirements and once registered, agencies must comply with a range of requirements via regular reporting and engagement.

Agencies must ensure boards understand regulatory requirements for compliance and performance [pdf 638kb] and financial viability [pdf 304kb] before proceeding with registration.

Agencies should also ensure any ongoing funding arrangements are secured, such as signing a Housing Provider Framework lease or Homelessness Service agreement, and if seeking capital funding, proposals finalised under the Growth Strategy.

Yarra Community Housing - Coburg Registration rounds

Three registration rounds have now been completed to assist existing community housing agencies to apply for registration.
